Biography of Maria Montessori
Welcome to a child's world. |
The child is the focus at HOPE Montessori Academy Wildwood, and the teacher is the guide for the individual child. They demonstrate activities suitable to the child's stage of development and allows them the freedom to choose which activities to engage in at any given time. The basic goal is to help children acquire self-confidence and self-motivation by nurturing enthusiasms and making activities available that fit individual needs. Emphasis is on inner motivation, using a child's natural curiosity and delight in discovery. The unique "hands-on" learning experiences in our Montessori classes are totally suitable to the age group we serve; 2 to 6 years. |
